I would say that this image which I found on Google Images would be an accurate example of the target audience of my magazine. The girl in the picture is a teenage girl, who appears to be have a very feminine style, therefore I believe my magazine would appeal to someone similar to her as it includes a lot of things which are conventional to young girls, such as the colours which I have used, and the overall style of the magazine, being quite 'girlie'.
My magazine is aimed at stereotypical teenage girls, and would include references to some things they would typcially enjoy such as shopping. I would suggest that the audience for my magazine would shop at places such as 'new look' and 'river island' to try and keep up to date on the lastest trends. They would mainly listen to pop and chart music, although they would probably listen to other genres of music such as rock and r&b as well. This is the conventional view of teenage girls and would be suitable to represent against my music magazine.
This is the most obvious target audience for my magazine although I think that it would be suitable for a number of different types of people, including women in their twenties or older and girls who prefer alternative style music. I have chosen to design my magazine so that it would appeal to more than just one type of person, although this is the main idea of who would be most likely to buy and want to read it.
